2017 Guinness World Record Attempt

Thank you for participating in the 2017 WSSA STACK UP! on Guinness World Record Day. We had 2,400 schools participate, from first timers all the way to those who have helped us break the record for the previous 11 years. The good news is we joined together around the world with over a half a million stackers but unfortunately we came up short in breaking our previous record.

This year's event date, due to the proximity of Veteran's Day, posed too many challenges for a large number of schools across the US. Although the holiday was on Saturday following STACK UP!, many schools were unable to participate because of Veteran's Day activities or teacher in-service/parent conferences on STACK UP! day.

Nevertheless we consider this year's event a success and are extremely thankful to the 578,704 that participated and to the valuable causes they helped along the way! We look forward to going after the 622,809 record again next year and more importantly look forward to having all of you be a part of this awesome event!
