The Speed Stacks Competitor provides what you need to get started in Sport Stacking! Our most popular package, the Competitor includes your choice of any cup color and a G5 Timer and G5 Mat.

Speed Stacks^® are specially designed high-tech Sport Stacking cups endorsed by the World Sport Stacking Association (WSSA) for competition. Speed Stacks are the only products approved for use in WSSA sanctioned events and each cup carries the official WSSA seal of approval.

The G5 timer has two modes: 4-Pad mode (for stacking) and 2-Pad mode (for speed cubing, where it operates just like a G4 timer). To switch between the two modes just hold the RESET button for 5 seconds. To ensure 2-Pad mode doesn't get used at stacking tournaments, in 2-Pad mode the display and the TD blink the final time three times so the operating mode is obvious to judges and spectators. The LCD display and the LED color also indicate the timer mode. Two pad mode can also be used by stackers with motor control issues that prevent them from using a four-pad timer. G5 timers are compatible with our Pro Tournament Displays.

Note: G5 timer and G5 mat are not compatible with G4 equipment.

9 year old wanted this for Christmas. She practices all the time. It is loud. But I prefer this to video games. Lots of YouTube videos on how to cup stack and different stacking routines. I know more about this “sport” than I ever imagined. You will never look at plastic cups the same way again.

My son loves these and it something that he can do by himself or with his siblings. He can practice beating his time, and it is something fun to do that does not involve a video game! I first discovered cup stacking at the school I work at, and I knew it would be a hit with my competitive child.

It Is Great For Hand-eye Coordination And Is A Lot More Tricky ... September 8th, 2016

Two thumbs up!! My children had begged me for weeks to purchase these stacking cups after having first been introduced to them by their P.E. teacher at school. Think of making a pyramid with plastic cups as quickly as possible and you have the stacking cups. It is little bit more complex as participants have to stack the cups in a certain order and bring the cups back down, all the while racing against a clock. It is great for hand-eye coordination and is a lot more tricky then you would think. The cups themselves are a durable plastic that won't easily be broken which is a plus when dealing with three school age kids. The timing mat is sturdy and doesn't slip around which is crucial in stacking. The timer withstands slams by the participants and keeps on ticking...high quality product overall. This has kept my children entertained for hours and even I have gotten in on the fun with them. Overall, this product is well worth it

I loved this set. I got it with the tie die, and really got used to it. I gave it four stars, because my younger cousin got a hold of one ant threw it at the wall. It then broke. :( I am thinking of getting glow in the dark blue with one replacement cup for my tie die set. But overall, I loved this set.

I got this set a month ago as my starters set. My cups aren't out of round or broken at all! When I bought this set, it was $40 and it came with minis and mini mat too! I only got the Gen3 timer but my next set (Ultimate) is on the way already!

A Bit Too Small November 16th, 2012

I have allways loved speed stacking when i was little they started it at my school and i couldnt get enogh my mom went out and bought me and my brother sets within a month i broke most of my cups but on the other hand i liked that generation better the mat was bigger and i think this ones too small while the timers are better as well as cups the mat is just too small and i belive the curve helps but is not enogh space for the cups to fit with in my oppinon in a comfortable manner

My son loves his set but finds that other cups he has handled have a bit more friction -- I don't know if there are differences between models. Plus, the timer was defective from the beginning but customer services get an A+ for promptly sending an upgraded version.
