at last year's Special Needs & Education
Show London, we knew we created a stir!
Our stand was, at times, crowded by teachers of all backgrounds who came to a standstill to watch some of the young children "Stacking Cups"! The cups in question? Speed Stacks - specially designed so that they do not stick together which enables the cups to be stacked into pre-set patterns (sequence) at high speed. |

Just as their student counterparts would be taught, it all begins on the floor learning the basics. Teachers are provided "hands-on" demonstrations of stacking sequences using Speed Stacks. |

Many teachers commented that they could see how the activity would help with hand-eye coordination and in improving concentration, others that they liked the idea of patterning and sequencing, some even drew relation to Brain Gym with cross brain working and bi-lateral proficiency. All the teachers were correct in their observations. Sport Stacking addresses all these skills. Since last year's Education Show we have helped many State and Private schools in the U.K to set up Stacking Programs for their students. |
"Hands-Up" signals a successful pass through a sport stacking cycle and brings the same sense of acheivement a student feels upon completion. |
Many people in education have since attended our workshops, where apart from having fun and learning how to stack the various patterns, they learned all about the benefits of sport stacking and how it can be used within their schools to help students develop and improve important key skills. Speed Stacks have received only positive feedback from the many teachers and education officers that have attended our workshops, as word of Speed Stacks continues to spread through the teaching community. |
