Teach (10 Minutes)

Doubles

In Doubles, partners complete stacks with all the same rules but that two people work together to complete the stack. The partners only use their outside hands to stack. Partners alternate upstacking and downstacking each cup just as if it was one person upstacking and downstacking.

Grade Level Progressions for Sport Stacking: Doubles

Grade Level Description
K Partners follow all rules for individual stacks with each partner only using one hand.
1 Partners follow all rules for individual stacks and consistently use only their outside hands.
2 Partners complete doubles consistently following the upstack rule of only upstacking one set of cups at a time.
