"As educators we see positive aspects of having our students do stacking. Our Occupational Therapist sees value in doing stacking, because it works on cross-laterality with which many of our students have difficulty. As an academic and PE teacher I see great worth doing cups stacking. The process used when stacking cups assists our students with directionality, organization, coordinating both hands, focus, as well as giving them a sense of accomplishment. We have found that stacking is a great reward and motivator. We have one or more sets of stacking cups in a number of the classrooms and the teachers are letting the students use them when they have completed their work and have a little time before the next class starts.
