  Kids' Stacker Stories

Sherry trains athletes to attain their top performance capabilities. She's also involved in community outreach where she speaks to students about health and performance issues. She speaks out about stacking.

"I am currently presenting to individual classrooms that have anywhere from 20-30 kids in them. I did a presentation last week to a group of EI (emotionally impaired) children was awesome! They (all 6 of them) loved it - and the teachers were wondering how come they have never heard of stacking. They found it to be a great activity in helping the kids follow directions, focus and interact appropriately. There was talk of taking the demonstration around the entire Royal Oak school district.

I think it is a big deal to be able to leave a pack of stacks with the teacher - it is a powerful thing to leave for them. I have presented at Troy Adventist Academy - 28 kids; Elmwood Elementary - 22 kids; Clarkston Elementary - 23 kids (they loved them!); Whittier Elementary - 6 kids (this is a special ed classroom - emotionally impaired); Eisenhower Elementary - 30 kids in this gym class.

We also have some physical therapy student interns currently doing rotations and we told them yesterday that they will not be passing their rotation unless they can perform the cycle stack in 19 seconds or less.

Thanks for such a great product and the support we are getting from you. We are gearing up for a tournament hopefully in the fall and are lining up a research study on the effects of stacking with agility.
