  In your own words...

Kids Hope USA, Gail says, "Stacking has helped with Kids Hope USA with a summer program the Kids Hope USA kids have had for 2 years now. The kids really enjoy the Speed Stacks and we really see a lot of improvement in just 4 short weeks of cup stacking.

It is truly amazing to watch a child really struggle to use 2 hands and see their face light up when they finally begin to get the concept of using 2 hands and see their times speed up". (July 21, 2004)

Stacking in Edmonton, Renee says, "Just wanted to say how amazing Speed Stacking is!! My class just started this week, and they are already hooked. I teach a grade 4 class in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and when I introduced the idea of Speed Stacking to them, all I heard were groans, sneers and complaints.

I didn't take it seriously, as they had no idea what I was talking about. I told them their grade 1 buddies were going to teach them the basics, so they assumed it was going to be just another "little kids" game. Boy, were they surprised! Now, at every break, all I hear is "Can we Speed Stack?" Today, we held some stacking relays in Phys. Ed. class and they had already improved in their speed.

Now, they are asking me if I am going to form a Speed Stacking Club next school year. So, again, its an amazing activity! Thanks for creating it. (May 25, 2004)

Dear Speed Stacks, Oliver says, "I really like the new amazing sport of cup stacking. I think it's BRILLIANT!!! I have got my own Speed Stacks and I am fast as lightning."

Dear Speed Stacks, Keaton says, "I am a huge fan of cup stacking. I have been stacking for 3 years now and in May it will be four. My school is the one that started me in it. I was 8  when I started. Every year at our school we have a school competition for every grade. I have been 1st place so far.

I think Speed Stacking is a great sport. But I have a question. One of my friends at school saw the tape of Emily Fox. But he thinks the tape has been speeded up throughout the movie. I've shown him myself but I am not as good as Emily is. So he still does not believe me. What do I do?" (April 4, 2004)

Box Fox, responding for Speed Stacks,
Hi Keaton!  Yes, Emily (and others) are so fast at stacking Speed Stacks that it looks "unreal" and often folks think it is a video on fast forward.  That's the magic of cup stacking......it's speed!  You might have your friend watch the tape again and look at the other people while Emily is stacking.  If the tape was sped up then they would be moving fast as well.  Hopefully your friend can someday see someone stack "live" really fast.  With practice it could be YOU!  Keep on stackin'!

Dear Speed Stacks, Trisha says, "Hello Speed Stacks! I REALLY REALLY love the sport of cup stacking! I am an 11 year old student and my P.E. teacher taught this to me and I thought WOW, can I get these cups? So I went home after stacking for a week, and asked and then my dad ordered them and I can't keep my hands off of them! I taught my sister the sport, and she was doing well and I went to this program we had in the mornings at our school, and I got the cups out and the stack mat and started stacking and my time was 27.24 seconds off the cycle! My sister is 7 and she does decent with the cups for an 7 year old, you should see her in action! We watch the DVD that came with the cups and we watched the whole thing! What awesome footage.

I really like Emily's team: "The Cupcakes" nice name! Her score was unbelieveable! 7.43 seconds, on third try, I was shocked. She has some fast hands! I hope to be as fast as her! Brennan and Kit are really fast too. Well just wanted to give a shout-out to the mailbag, bye!" (March 24, 2004))
