Math Facts with Battlestacks

Equipment:
1 battlestacks, 2 sets of mini cups, a set of either addition or subtraction flash cards

Set-up:
Place battlestacks on a table with 1 set of mini cups on each side, Divide the stackers into 2 teams.

Procedure:
Each team stands behind their side of the battlestacks. The instructor shows the first stacker on each team one flash card. The stackers must place the correct number of cups on the battlestacks. The stackers then ask the instructor if they are correct and the first one with the correct answer knocks over the other stackers cups. Each stacker gets 3 tries before going to the back of the line and the next stacker moves forward.
