"Because of the results we’ve seen in integrating cross lateral movements and hand-eye coordination activities into physical education, sport stacking has already been integrated into many of our programs," said PE4life President and CEO, Anne Flannery.
PE4life was founded in January, 2000 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to inspiring active, healthy living by advancing the development of quality, daily physical education programs for all children.
- The PE4life Approach to Physical Education:
- Be offered to every child every day
- Be available for all students, not just the athletically inclined
- Provide a wide variety of sports and fitness activities to promote an active and healthy lifestyle
- Assess students on their personal progress toward fitness and physical activity goals
- Incorporate technology on a regular basis
- Extend beyond the walls of the gymnasium to form community and business partnerships

SGMA National Health Through Fitness Day
Since 2000, the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA) has been bringing people together to find ways to “Get America Moving” and to lead healthy, active lifestyles. National Health Through Fitness Day (NHTF Day) is held each year in early March in Washington, DC. NHTF Day brings sports celebrities, sports & fitness industry leaders, physical education instructors and other health conscious people together to advocate on Capitol Hill to “Get America Moving” to overcome the obesity crisis. NHTF Day promotes in particular the Carol M. White Physical Education Program (PEP Grant) which since 2001 has provided over $500 million in competitive grants for quality physical education in schools and community based organizations. Speed Stacks is a proud sponsor of the annual NHTF Day!

In fact there are more than 1000 pages in our Archives. We encourage our editors to include ORIGINAL articles written by themselves or invited colleagues about ideas they have or something they have experienced.
